In working with Zoo Miami throughout this year, we’ve come to a profound understanding of what support and commitment to conservation truly means.

Through their creative and immersive educational programs, this great organization and its motivated team work hard to promote the conservation of wildlife and natural habitat. Helping the public to develop a strong appreciation for the natural world and the animals that live in it, they’re building the solid foundation needed to nurture the environment and its wild animal species for future generations. It’s about the legacy of our world, really…a much bigger picture than what we might commonly think of when we think of the zoo.

We’ll be on location in the Everglades working with our new friend (and communications director of the Miami-Dade Zoological Park and Gardens, and award-winning photographer / documentary producer ) Ron Magill during August. Word has it he’s bringing two baby cheetahs here from a land far, far away…photos to follow soon.

Last not least, we want to thank our followers who donated to Zoo Miami’s great cause by way of our last post. For those still interested in doing so, or upgrading to  one of their annual recurring gift programs, please visit their website here.
