The pharmaceutical marketplace is cluttered with endless product comparisons and so in order to create a refreshing recruitment campaign for one of our pharmaceutical clients, we harnessed the positive human response to the idea of “play.” The idea was to use familiar, fun objects from the past to encourage new product interest and trial for our client.

We believe that you are never too old to want to play with robots, let alone watch them go head to head in battle. Once the battle and its contenders are defined, knowing the outcome is crucial to the physicians in order to make sure they are giving their patients the most effective artillery to generate an individual victory.

This creative approach of applying youthful fascination to the traditional pharmaceutical physician outreach material is how we intend to differentiate our client from the rest of the robotic operations in the market.

Validus Pharmaceuticals has been a client of ours for more than a few years now. They market products for the treatment of depression and bipolar disorders, and in getting to know this marketplace we’ve learned a lot about the true meaning of crazy.

Crazy is cruel. It’s a massively misplaced label that’s insensitive to the incredible pain and suffering of people afflicted with these disorders. It minimizes the reality of the chemical origins of mental illness, and in doing so it marginalizes the victims.

Our job for Validus’ Equetro brand (and its sister product, Marplan) is to manage an ongoing educational series of eCRM communications aimed at current and prospective physician-prescribers that treat patients with depression and bipolar disorders. While the product is not new, knowledge of its efficacy has historically been very limited because the brand isn’t widely advertised or promoted. So a targeted physician recruitment and communications effort makes perfect sense, and ultimately that helps people when they’re able to get onto an appropriate form of treatment.
